Maths
We help students master key mathematical concepts such as place value, arithmetic, fractions, time, and money.

English
Our English lessons build a strong foundation in reading comprehension and vocabulary. Students learn to tackle both literal and inferential questions

Verbal Reasoning
Verbal Reasoning sessions sharpen logical thinking and language skills. Students practise spotting patterns and solving word puzzles.

Non-Verbal Reasoning
Visual problem-solving exercises like shape matching and grid pattern identification, students learn to recognise sequences and logical relationships.

Other Activities
We supplement core learning with enjoyable enrichment activities such as reading logs, math puzzles, and group reasoning games.

Year 4 Programme Overview
📘 Term 1: Building Core Skills
(Weeks 1-12)
Objective: Strengthen literacy, numeracy, and reasoning foundations.
English: Literal and inferential comprehension, word meanings, and spelling games
Maths: Place value, arithmetic, fractions, time, and word problems
Reasoning: Letter codes, sequences, shape matching
Activities: Reading logs, group reasoning games, puzzles
📗 Term 2: Developing Reasoning Skills
(Weeks 13-24)
Objective: Introduce 11+ style questions with guided support.
English: Multiple-choice comprehension, cloze exercises, vocabulary tasks
Maths: Logic puzzles, data handling, guided quizzes
Reasoning: Analogies, hidden words, matrices
Activities: Vocabulary journals, puzzle competitions, reasoning challenges
📕 Term 3: Application & Familiarisation
Weeks 25-36
Objective: Apply skills to 11+ style mock questions in a low-pressure environment.
English: Practice comprehension papers, sentence revision
Maths: Problem-solving recap, exam techniques
Reasoning: Mixed question sets, timed exercises
Activities: Untimed mocks, peer marking, confidence workshops
Year 5 Students (Ages 9–10)
Year 5 Programme Overview
Term 1: Foundation Phase
(Sept - Dec)
Goals: Build core English & Maths skills, introduce reasoning formats, Identify strengths and weaknesses
Weekly Format: 30 mins English, 30 mins Maths, 30 mins Reasoning
Focus: Reading comprehension, grammar basics, time table mastery, mental maths, intro to reasoning patterns
Homework: Reading log + 3 tasks/week
Term 2: Development Phase
(Jan - Mar)
Goals: Expand knowledge, introduce timed activities, build strategies.
Weekly Format: 40 mins English, 40 mins Maths, 40 mins Reasoning
Focus: Complex comprehension, creative and formal writiing, multi-step maths, test strategies.
Homework: Vocabulary lists, weekly mini-tests
Term 3: Mastery & Exam Prep
(Apr - July)
Goals: Simulate real test experience, refine test-taking techniques.
Weekly Format: Full-length mock sections + review + workshops
Focus: Exam stamina, marking-schemes & self-correction, error analysis, mock test training.
Homework: Timed sections per week, review answers, 11+ vocabulary quizzes
